I think just look for fashion inspiration (they don’t all have to be the same style!!) and maybe make a Pinterest board overall I’d say, buy whatever clothes you like and make outfits you think look cool! I don’t really know how to explain without an analogy, so I’ll just show my journey i dress kidcore/emo (very opposite styles, i know xD) my main fashion inspiration is dinodining (TikTok/youtube) and i take ideas off of them, say if they have a necklace that looks cool, I’ll try make something similar! along with that, i switch between styles, my main go to is when i have straightened hair i dress more “emo” as my bangs are too long and have to be swept to the side lol and when its curly i dress more kidcore! also a few times ill mix both elements, emo hair/makeup with kidcore clothes/acessories sorry if this doesn’t make sense, this is Judy how i found my style :p |

You can be creative by mixing both styles, in a way.

you don't have to stick to just one,you can combine elements you like of both or just wear both at separate times,what i do is i collect pieces of any and all styles i like and just wear them together,or i alter clothes to be a style i want,thrift stores are great for finding items to alter or just to find fabric to sew. |
