OH MY GOD YES!! I HAVE AUTISM THIS REALLY IRRITATES ME TOO!! This and other neurodivergent terms too, like my roommates will say something brain rot and be like 'omg my new vocal stim!' or they'll say 'omg I hate that song it makes me so overstimmy!' like actually stop 💔 I get that those terms can probably be applied to neurotypical people too but I swear it waters down the meaning and makes a joke out of neurodivergent experiences 😢 |

Why are you friends with them then? Not to be a dick but if they do this a lot and you hate it you can just cut them off |

To be honest most of the time they're actually like really nice and all, it's just that it's kinda irritating when they do this. And ngl, if I'm not friends with them anymore, it's gonna be really awkward when group projects and all. So I tend to try to be friends with my entire class, whether they have small interaction with me or not.
