That's literally me whenever I want CDs that are on sale but I can't spend all my money on all of them. ≡(▔﹏▔)≡

Try making a list of those you want right now and those that can wait a little longer.

As for portable CD players, a cheap Mitsai one works. But Sony ones are really good too. If you just want to listen to CDs and aren't going to be turning into a portable DJ, then any CD player that you see available will work just fine. :3

i have an mp3 and it's nice, but i say maybe a cd player!
