If I'm not mistaken, capitalism came up with purses to convince women they needed to make an extra purchase just to carry their things around, instead of just making women's clothing with proper pockets like men get. Anyway, there's something very comforting about having a purse, a big backpack (even if you don't actually need to store much in it) and lugging it around everywhere even more lol |

It must be because 'Bag' is the name of a style of trousers worn by tramps, and skaters, not that there's much difference between them (jus' kidding)
