my brother I'm not talking about nazi skins. SHARP is "skinheads against racial prejudice", a whole subculture of skins who are taking back the original working-class skinhead movement.

Do not call me or us "brother". There is nothing poser about the racist movement of skinheads, that is the original movement. If you want to reclaim it y'all need to be apologetic and tell people why you are reclaiming it.

 What is it with this modern skinhead movement trying to erase the existence of racism, homophobia, and anti-woman in the culture? Why are you calling skinheads, as they are, posers? We have seen too much of it over the last 5 months and it's honestly disturbing. Everyone should be against racial prejudice, racism, homophobia, totalitarianism, fascism, etc....many punks/alternative people are against those things (though also deny some of their previous problems), so why the need to "rebrand" skinheads? Why not claim punk? Why not claim ANYTHING else? There is no need to reclaim skinhead. The movement should be forgotten by time. It was a movement formed from hatred, it was not outliers who were racist and homophobic. It was the group. Do not preach to us. We will fight this, because there is a resurgence of skinheads trying to invade alternative and queer communities. And we will not stand for it. 

Why even identify as it if you consider yourself a subsection of skin head??

to be honest, I'm not sure where this insurgence comes from, precisely.

SHARP was my introduction to left wing politics, in general, when I was pulled into it by my current group of friends. Every skinhead I've met, with the exception of one (1) has been a leftist, and I call myself a skinhead because I'm part of this group that turned me into what I am now. 

I dunno about where you're from, but here in Italy skins that call themselves that aren't very common regardless, and most bald bigots just call themselves fascists with a smug proudness. 

Also, if a subculture is becoming something better, why erase it? Why erase the community that's forming around it, of people with values that directly contradict the "anti-everything" you speak of?

If we're doing that, we might as well cancel every single subculture that's had strong rightwing movements inside of it.

Total erasure of something good because it WAS bad seems like a useless endeavor.

Every concert I've been to, even the non-skinheads were sweet and accepting, and even happy to see skinhead being reclaimed by the real punks.

I've never had anyone, except people online, call me names for being SHARP, and even the, aside from you specifically, it was usually fascists or trolls.

There is no phantomatic "we" group "fighting" against the rebirth of skinhead as left wing, and most of us are alternative and queer, myself included, so we aren't "invading" spaces that are also ours.

Stop trying to turn our words against us. Of course every subculture has had racists, homophobes, or anti feminists  You're denying that the start of your "movement" was based in white supremacy. And as long as you do that, we will keep fighting you all. The BASE of all skinheads is racism, queer phobic, and anti woman. 

There is no point of reclaiming it.

Not expecting a reply, but no, I haven't noticed. 

There are plenty of POC skinheads, and plenty of POC from other subcultures at the concerts organized by SHARP groups.

You keep trying to insinuate that being in a certain subculture automatically makes me a white supremacist, but I am not, and I never will be.

We write songs against imperialism and white supremacy, we go to protests, we punch nazis, same as you.
