I agree with you tbh. I am glad that I ditched my smartphone like almost 2 years ago, and ever since I have been happier than ever. And yea, I wish I was alive in the 80s-2000s. I hate the era I am in and I mainly wish I was a teenager around 2009 - 2015, or even earlier. I hope you understand.
I feel you on a spiritual level. Even though the times have changed, I do love old tech and using things that have experienced life more than me.
Same, I have been using things like CRTs and older computers/OSes (think pre-Windows 8), Cassettes/CDs, Floppies/DVDs, Older programs, Heck, even older consoles.
I could list off the entire list here if I wanted to.
