I will never stop judging books by their covers, I mean, who is the cover to tell me what to do? Thats so opressive and old-fashioned & I resent it when people say that we should'nt do that! |

It's honestly really difficult to stop the habit of judging books by their covers. It's basically what you said is we see a book or movie before we learn anything substantial about it. Vision is one of the core principles of human judgement. Sure, sometimes gems are hidden behind awful covers. Which is always a pleasant surprise. But if I choose a book with a good cover I'm often not disappointed. |
