Hope things get better for you and your mother soon. I'm the same age and a few years back, I went to the doctors for bowel problems and was convinced I had crohns or ulcerative colitis only to be told I was literally full of shit (bowel obstruction/blockage). Got given medication for it and ended up fine though 😭 I usually associate that with older people. Did they recommend any meds for you to take to get through the acid reflux? 

Also your profile is very cool. I'm a big supernatural creature fan as well and I love making different ocs that are different creatures, either creatures from pop culture/myth or entirely original ones. My pfp is my oc Carole who is a Transidianide, one of my original species!

Also so cool to see another UK person here as well. I'm Scottish :3 also a language learner but I've lapsed a little lol, I was learning German and Mandarin a few months ago, I really want to get back into them both tbh.
