Visually I thought it was great, good lighting and stunning cinematography, but everything else had me waiting for it to ending. I understand what the creators were going for, but the entire thing came off like some white washed punk wanna be type film. The casual use of slurs, Simon assaulting and pressuring Patty in the beginning (which is never brought up), cringe dialogue, etc. The film wants to be deep but just comes off as reactionary. Every 'controversial' thing that happens feels like its just there to get a reaction out of the audience rather than make any kind of statement or argument (or anything really).
