Honestly I feel like you should def try out in person again even if you got to go back to your new school. You never know maybe new and better people have joined the school and you might end up being friends. Personally - I hated my school for a while and I lowkey got made fun of by some muslim peers but I got over it and found better friends, even people who I thought I would never be friends with. So I think you should go out there and dont miss out on your highschool years! Plus I dont think you should be scared to ask your mom about it! Its a reasonable question
