I’ve always wondered how alters work. What is your experience?
well im actually a pretty newly formed system,,, but from my experience its like,, think of the headspace as where all the alters live at (for us its the "no i'm not a human" house) and will occasionally like answer the door by fronting and taking control of the body. the core/host Noelle has been around since birth and is USUALLY the one fronting (answering the door) but sometimes other people will answer the door (like sophie or jane). its confusing and weird but i think you might like looking into it in more detail with an older system!!!!!
