i’d say your passiveness is a double edged sword here. you don’t force friendships that are fading, but you not batting an eye would most likely seem like you never cared about the friendship at all. i don’t think you suck as a friend, but that ‘hanging around waiting for them to leave’ is something people are probably just mirroring. maybe next time when people start to drift away, ask them directly about it and don’t be a bystander to your own friendship fallout. everyone gets lonely, so don’t sweat it. the fact you’re questioning it proves you give a crap anyway lol |
