learn the most simple html tags first (paragraphs, images, links, etc)

look up a bunch of tutorials on youtube

go on other neocities sites, sometimes they have free code snippets (dont try javascript until you have a grasp of html)

when you want to do something just look it up online (like when you want to change your css, you can just look up 'how to change background color css').

make sure you read every piece of code before you put it on your website so over time youll actually start to understand what your code means

if you have a question just look it up, its probably already been solved in coding forums (if you still need help ask someone here who knows html, i can help to the best of my ability if you like)

its going to look super ugly until you figure out what youre doing and thats fine, you gotta live with it
