Fr, talk about not having 2 be chronically online, and hell even being the "popular girl" did not mean "look the same as every other girl on tiktok but with a different colour of your top and maybe hair." I look back at Dork dairies from 2009, where the main antagonist, a popular girl is always depicted wearing something else. If you made such antagonist in the modern day, she'd be so bland and boring. Understimulating and fitting in. Hell, my school apparently banned wearing sweatpants because almost everyone wore the same set of sweatpants everyday and it felt like a hallway if zombies. And also "white girl music" was so unique even my steampunk/goth/Victorian gothic sister bought CDs of that (mostly Britney spears ig) |
