The bible actually says to not go to church, and that many aspects of modern church are actually a sin. 1. Praying/worshipping at altars of hewn stone. 2. (First commandment of the 613 commandments) Graven images of anything in the heavens above the earth below or the waters beneath. (A carved Jesus on the cross) 3. No praying to Idols (e.g. Mary/ TheRosary (also a graven image as well)) 4. Especially don't worship idols if they are made of gold or silver (tabernacle, some gold/silver chain crosses) 5. The gospel of Thomas, which the church removed from the bible (go figure) also states that there is no reason to go to a physical place to worship because God can always hear you and knows your thoughts and intents. God gave us freewill, because they need the data. That's why we are the "Tree of Knowledge" and not "The Tree of Life". (Genesis) If God controlled all of us and every action we made, we would be part of God and nothing new or could arise. But they have allowed for soverignty. Also sometimes something bad has to happen to allow something better to happen later. It's really hard/near impossible for humans to see how the butterfly effect of things change the future drastically. your god is all knowing, all powerful and all knowing. The holy trinity trancends human comprehension. He could definitely conjure a sinless world with free will.ย
I also am talking about traditional religion, as i do not believe there is a point to worship modern versions of religion because if you believe so much of the bible is wrong that you have to erase and rewrite it, then how do you know any of it is true at all? Also, did god not command people to build churches in the old testament?
btw if god is all knowing like your bible claims then why do we need to be tested? Why does he make us to send us to hell? just dont make us in the first place.
If your partner says "i love you, so you should love me too or i'll dismember your body limb by limb" then that relationship isnt healthy and your partner is toxic. I don't see how religion is different. He forces you to love him, simply. (I dont want bs like "you have a choice and if you choose not to you go to hell" cuz if hes all powerful he can get rid of hell easily)

as for the "no carving jesus" or wtv thing by "laying myself bare at the cross" it is also a metaphoric phrase as kneeling down to jesus. i dont really actually care about that and it doesnt prove if ur god is real or not

the religion is literally built off of blind faith? The bible is blind faith. If the faith wasn't blind, you would see god in your daily life (not like "i aced my test" like you would genuinely see him)
