I think it depends on your age as well as your own strength in your relationship with God. No where in the scripture (Holy Bible) does God say piercings, or dyed hair are forbidden or bad. He states in Leviticus 19:28 that we should not cut ourselves or tattoo ourselves on ourselves. Ephesians 5:18 tells us that to not get drunk on wine (alcohol) because it leads to debauchery. Other verses on this include Proverbs 23:29-32, Proverbs 20:1, and Galatians 19:21. These are just a few that tell us the dangers of drinking, and how it affects our lives as followers of Christ.

Im not super knowledgeable on what that tattoo part means, since it's my personal conviction to not have any, but these instructions are to prevent us from worshipping ourselves/harming ourselves, and are very clear. I agree that this "church" sounds VERY cultish, and I encourage you to read more of the scripture on your own to find the truth of God's word. The character you display is the most important thing, id say, in being a Christian. If you follow the teachings of Christ and behave and hold yourself to the standard of Jesus, it really doesnt matter if you have dyed hair, piercings, or long nails. Most importantly, listen to the conviction given by God, and do not simply take someones word for it. Like I said, please look up and study the Bible on your own as well without the influence of this church, because a personally relationship with Jesus is what will bring you closer to him.

They do not like it when we get our church research outside of the church, calming it demonic.
