if there's a character you resonate with a bunch, you should cosplay them!! i do that almost every year and its super fun. 

if you don't have any ideas regarding that, you could always be a spooky creature like a vampire or werewolf.

 if you don't wanna be "basic" you can do a unique take on it with accessories and things like that.
