heyy! im so sorry, that sounds terrible :( i dont think you should take high amounts of melatonin, doctors recommend to only take it under a parents or guardians guidance. when you take a high intake of melatonin, it can alter your REM sleep cycle, which can contribute to rlly bad nightmares. what i recommend ya to do, it to tell your parents about it. i was also struggling with sleeping at 13, but for me, reading before bed helped...but if its actually bad, go to a doctor. byeeee, wish you the best! |
My parents know about my bad sleeping habits and i do read but only melatonin helps, im tryna lower the dose especially since my parents might find out, i have really bad anxiety so its been difficult to sleep without it and my parents dunno i take it.
Ur right tho, im taking WAY to much for my age.
Thanks for the explanation on rem cycles and advice!
Wish you the best<3
