I kind of think what this means is when transitioning is presented as a quick fix or online trend, especially when it comes to teenagers making life ALTERING choices before they've even had a chance to figure themselves out it’s not like good. In fact, in 2020 a bunch of people became trans for the hell of it and geninuely went through with it and are dealing with the not so good aftermath of transitioning while they were minors. Now, the point isn't to deny anyone's identity or stop adults from living freely it's about wanting young people to have proper medical guidance, mental health support, and time to mature before deciding hey I wanna get on like estrogen or t or just whatever and cut my hair or grow it out and make it my WHOLEE personality. But yeah this could have been lowk been worded better but that’s my take on this. Not to say no one should support you if u like come out as trans when your like 11 but at what point is it like reasonable to let ur child go through with something that will change the both of your life’s forever while not knowing if they’ll ever regret it😭😭😭??  But tbh at the end to the day it’s nobody buisness n everrbody gon die one day so live the life u want to ain’t nb stopping u from being trans and there’s no one stopping this person from expressing their opinion.  #dontflamemenotransphob

I don’t identify as trans but I know some people who do and I disagree with your statements. I think it’s important for some people to talk about being trans. all over the world, many lgbtq voices are silenced. so having platforms to talk about being trans is important.

I think your post seems like it’s not in good faith. I think you should try to talk to a trans person and ask about their experiences rather than posting about a topic you don’t know much about.

no hate 2 yu but I think you are being very critical when talking about a group of people who you don’t really try to understand.

Hi hello not trans but I do have friends that are !! Think of it like this way when they "make it they're whole personality" it's probably cuz they feel free ! Like think of it like being stuck in a room ur whole life and he excited to actually be free and feel like you! You'd wanna talk about it 24/7 too! And most people will just stop later on yk? And being trans will just make it they're norm!!! And no parents r giving they're kids stuff to do all that ....most they'll do is help them like hair and clothes !! Hell most straight people get stuff like that too to help them feel more happy with their body with it being hair extensions or lip fillers yk? So ... respectfully please do your research

its a personal choice. the reason people let their kids get on hormones stuff is so their kids dont grow up in a body that isnt theirs? and you dont NEED to be diagnosed with anything to be trans and get the resources you need to fully transition. and no one gives themselves stupid names? its the name they want and they feel the most comfortable in, how is that stupid? trans people dont wake up one day and become trans, its something they are born with a realize over time. i dont know what you think being trans is like but it obviously isnt similar to the real experience at all

hello! transmale kid here! not a trans girl but yk solidarity. there is not a single parent of a trans child letting their kids on hormones. all my friends are trans. only one is on hormones, and she's 21. hell, my parents won't use my name until i'm 25.

me coming out as trans at 12 was actually quite freeing for me amongst my friends. my family is a different story, but who cares because 1/3 are being cut off the second i'm able

it isn't your place to speak on the difficulties of being trans. you yourself admitted you don't understand the concept of being trans, so what gives you the right to speak on it?

did you know a lot of mental illness comes from lack of identity in childhood? i wonder what could cause a loss of identity in childhood. trans people don't have to be perfect, mentally healthy role models to be accepted. imagine if we did that with cis people
