Im studying to be teacher and I suffer from social anxiety.... I was diagnosed for 10 years now. Never took pills. My school path always force me to present in front of people my projects... right now I am literaly teaching kids. I always take presentations and even my teaching practice as my exposure therapy, I can see progress in those 4 years! I feel more confident in myself. The anxiety is less noticable, more managing.

Of course when it comes to people, talking is still problem, I have hard time to join converstations and prefer to be quiet. What helps me with this is to beforehand "prepare" what Im gonna say, what I could say etc in my mind. Small talks are my enemies but sometimes small talks are the best for practicing talking through anxiety :DDDD ngl, I sometimes use Solid snake method lmao, talking with question back.

its kinda difficult, i have been thru this in the past, but now its so easy for me

i recommend that u always try to talk to people and, most importantly, be yourself and have confidence in yourself, its so important

once you gain confidence in yourself, u will be able to talk to anyone

I really wish I could. This year when I was in school, I was actually getting way better at socializing. However, I graduated in June & ever since then, I’ve been applying for jobs & no one is hiring 🫩

With me not being social, I’m way worse now. I get super nervous when a car is coming by, I get nervous when I’m going to the dollar store to get my usual snacks, & when I’m around people.
