I understand how you feel in some ways. Don't feel inadequate because you don't look exactly like the overrated standards set by society. If you ever feel embarrassed or weary about how feminine you look, remind yourself how far you've come in your journey of self-identity. I know this might seem cliche but maybe try and find some things to take your mind off of thinking negatively about how you appear -- like drawing, crafting, anything that keeps you occupied -- and try and incrementally replace and eventually overpower your negative thoughts with positive ones. It is not your problem, it's society's. Not only have we set impossible standards for everyone in NUMEROUS ways, but we've caused a great sum of people to feel inferior for having any other kind of identity. Not being paper thin is not something to be ashamed of. We all have varying shapes of bodies yet we act like being skinny is the norm. I promise you, having meat on your bones is a blessing. Starving yourself will only cause you severe problems and, in extreme cases, death. Make it a habit of complimenting yourself when you feel down, and pleassseee remember that being skinny won't make you feel better; it will just become a never-ending cycle of starving and incessantly feeling like you haven't done enough, when at that point you might've already done TOO much -- negatively affecting your health maybe even permanently. I love you, be nice to yourself :))) <3 |

just stop giving a shit and do what you want to do. thats what I did and I gained so many friends in highschool. yeah im a little weird but if they don't like my vibe then fuck em. confidence is everything so give a middle finger to the system and be who you wanna be. |
small issue, it's not anyone or anything that thinks im not pretty enough, its me. my partners constantly tell me that i'm pretty and everyone tries to hype me up, this self worth problem is all on me and ive been trying really hard to make it stop but nothing ever works for some reason
