I have this exact problem. I'm scene too. When I see ppl on the internet in the same fashion scene, I sometimes start to compare myself to them & think i dont look scene.

I'm not sure how to help u with that feeling (╥﹏╥)  but what helps me feel like me is doing my hair & (sometimes) makeup, even when im not going anywhere. Also (if u haven't already & are able to) dying ur hair a fun color may help with feeling more alt. A lot of scene ppl I follow on the internet have dyed hair! And to help with feeling less plain, maybe wear patterned clothes. I often wear stripes & have at least 1 colorful piece of clothing, sometimes I wear a big perler necklace or a big bow in my hair. I also always have on lots of kandi bracelets.

im not scene, just alt, but I have the same feeling when im online and see all these cool looking alt people!! but then i get whiplash irl since im like literally the only alt person in my town and get weird looks cuz of my style LOL
