because we set our ages to adults whenever we make accounts so that we dont get any permissions automatically restricted. since there isnt a disclaimer when you create an account that your age will be displayed on your profile, it keeps happening. the only reason my age is accurate is because my friend warned me beforehand. |

Who knows, I don't question anymore. I guess they don't know that if they set their age correctly anyone 18+ couldn't add them. |

the best thing to do in this situation is js report them, its against the rules so the second the mods see it if theres enough evidence they js get booted |

I don't use websites enough to know that age restrictions are common. What exactly are you wanting permission to access? I would like to think there's a good reason age restrictions are usually put in place.

some websites and apps dont let you talk to people, post anything, or interact with certain elements if youre below a certain age. not saying we should be doing that, but thats why we lie about our age. and also for me anyway, i just dont want random websites to have my real date of birth.
