I agree with you, something like that happened to me in 6th grade he SA me at his friends house and he had his friend hold the door closed the only reason he didn't do anything else was bc his friends brother and parents came home then his friends moved across the US he was in 7th grade and most people gives him respect and treats him like he hasn't done anything while he has done it to multiple girls throughout middle school and high school. The last thing I heard from people in my old town was that he went to jail for something I'm so glad I don't live in that town anymore because he lived down the street from me and I had to walk by his house to get to school.

Honestly, I 100% agree with this opinion. Iv suffered similar things too and iv watched lots of people I love suffer from terrible people too. If someone is gonna hurt other people for fun, especially with horrendous things, they should be euthanized via being burned at the stake. I hope your doing okay and karma will get them.

what happened to you is genuinely horrible, and you have every right to be angry at her. but i think there’s a difference between saying someone doesn’t deserve your respect and saying they shouldn’t be treated as human. human rights aren’t rewards for being a good person, they’re protections that exist precisely because people can be cruel. she deserves accountability for what she did, not a saw trap. you don’t have to forgive her, respect her or ever let her near you again to recognise that. the moment we start deciding who counts as human based on their actions, we give everyone the power to make that decision about someone else too. you can demand justice without abandoning the principles that make justice meaningful.
