Actual truth. I also liked viv for a while as yk, helluva boss was, or at least I thought slightly better than Amazons hazbin hotel bc it explored hell more and such but now I just find her written EXTREMELY repetitive, in both shows, the main unhealthy mlm ship where one has done something fucked up to the other (stolas coercing blitz and angle just straight up saing husk), female characters that basically mean nothing and just very poor representation. Viv just can't fucking write at all and that's me saying that :/

I used to be a big fan of viv's work and it's so disappointing seeing what her shows have become. Especially helluva boss which had an interesting premise and a generally good pilot. She's relies heavily on stereotypes of gay men and in the most recent episode, racial stereotypes. I don't even think she has actual gay people on the writing team and it really shows in her writing. 

Stolas is genuinely the worst written character i've probably ever witnessed and it's just disgusting how Viv tries to get us to sympathize with him at every turn. It's like she's scared to write complex characters that are more than their sexuality.

AGREED that show is gross as fuck. The gay characters get fetichized & female characters are horribly written to top it all off.
