I have thought about this too, I don’t understand. If your girlfriend says she’s a trans boy and wants to transition, would you just stop liking her? I think it’s just that they don’t feel comfortable with the idea of what a boy is and it can change. I say this because I felt it too, we have so many stuff internalized and we don’t even notice. Like the misogyny in lgbtq places and they don’t even realize it sometimes. 

I think is the way you perceive gender, sexuality, personality, the world, in a more emotional sense. 

I am a woman but I don’t feel like a woman, but I don’t feel like a man either. Because gender is a social construct, too internalized in our society. So even if I don’t feel like anything, I still feel weird and uncomfortable about being seen as something else, they way I can’t manage how people perceive me, the way I can’t manage the way I perceive myself. And it makes me feel kind of stupid, to be chained to that feeling that shouldn’t even exist, like- my brain understands it but I feel weird and uncomfortable. 

And I think it’s because I’ve been treated and perceived as a woman since the day I was born, so I’m just used to being a woman, not that I feel like a woman, and it’s just gender roles, who cares about gender? I think in an evolutionary perspective gender is going to disappear too, because there is no need for it anymore, if we can be and do what we want, then gender roles don’t exist anymore. We can just be ourselves, and just be perceived as that. 

Just how people treat animals, just because a cat is a girl or a boy they treat them differently. Misogyny in animals omg  

Even if they don’t have any gender, that idea is just there.
