ive always wanted to get a piercing but never know which ones to get 😵💫 always thought tongue piercings were so cool but the healing process is what makes me nervous lolz !!
My unsolicited advice is probably gonna sound a little pretentious but I would say don't decide to get something just because its trendy right now; not because of some stupid like following trends makes you LAME elitist bullshit, but because one of my favorite piercings is my nose ring which I only got because my mom wouldn't let me get a septum (this was back in like 2021 or 2022 during the reign of septum and nose chains). Anyway, now it's one of my favorites and I often think about how glad I am I got it instead of a septum. My point is not that trendy piercings are bad or anything, but just that sometimes stepping outside the trends leads you to something you'll end up loving even more.
Anyway, I honestly decided to get my lip pierced on a total whim. I noticed the day before that my favorite piercing place happened to have an opening and I thought 'what the heck how about a lip piercing'. My (somewhat reckless) opinion is that worst case scenario if you really hate it you can always take it out, and yeah you'd have a scar but I personally already have so many acne scars that I don't really care about that. But that's just me so take that with a grain of salt lmao. I also personally believe there's just no such thing as a piercing 'not suiting' someone's face, so get whatever the heck you want!
If you want a random list of piercing ideas, here's some under appreciated ones I love: Monroe and Madonna, Labret, Dahlias, Anti eyebrow, Spider bites, or just insanely decked out ears like as many piercings as possible I think it's such an awesome look (also more job/parent friendly if that's a factor).
