i wrote this poem for the girls and the women of Afghanistan whose beautiful faces are forced to be hidden under their burqas because the men there can not resist temptation. I would just like to highlight that the girls there are not allowed to study so they have no way out. i ask for your awareness about this so those girls are allowed to breathe free air, and not the oxygen filtered by their burqas. |
