As a creative professional, the topic of artificial intelligence has been overwhelming me, leaving me pondering unemployment and the ethics of AI use. I admit I frequently use AI to understand complex topics, such as 3D modeling, hair science, and even calculus and programming. I believe AI is a powerful tool for those who want to learn, but it also impacts everyone's employment, without exception. I can use AI to learn programming, but that will affect those willing to teach it. Similarly, those who want to teach programming might create their promotional flyers using AI, and those with muscle pain, instead of seeking advice from qualified physiotherapists, might consult AI. Unfortunately, in such a ruthless, expensive, and fast-paced world, if you don't adapt to technological advancements, you'll be trampled and left behind. It's a complex issue because if you don't automate processes, you lose opportunities. Either you win to survive, or you're left behind in precariousness. Social and environmental ethics are intertwined with survival. |

i completely agree with you. And it's really weird how much theyre pushing AI onto us because I'm pretty sure no other technologies in the recent past have been forced(for a lack of a better word) this much. |

I don't know what to say, as I myself used to be reliant on ai when Chat GPT first came out, back then most had been unaware of AIs harm and impact on society and I love seeing people raise awareness on this situation. Could you believe that what used to "obviously" be ai has changed to the point of ai not being noticeable on social media. Social media has been really pushing the use of Ai under the name of "trends", for example generating pics with your fav celeb. Not only that but apps like Pinterest have been pushing ai content all over the feed, not to mention the large amounts of Ai storys on TikTok, Fruit love island? absolute slop, and I am afraid well reach the pointy of no return. I really hope this isn't the end of Human creativity... |
