hi there! so sorry to hear about your struggles. though i've never dealt with social anxiety to that extent, i can relate to CBT not working for me. it's not the greatest therapeutic method for lots of people. it's great you signed up for other mental health services, and I hope they can relieve you of your anxiety.

One of the most common methods of social anxiety reduction is very similar to phobia reduction (social anxiety is social phobia, after all)- exposure therapy. It's scary and difficult to do consistently, but I would maybe consider bringing it up to a mental health professional. I'm not sure if you've done anything like this before, but they may be able to help you set small goals and work your way up the fear hierarchy so you're finally comfortable with social interaction.

oh and also with the awkwardnes part, maybe you can work on how to riff with your conversations. it's so difficult for me to do, but it's a skill i'm also hoping to improve upon. basically, if someone makes a joke or comment, this skill allows you to add on to those comments and set the flow of the conversation in a more natural way. this sort of charisma i think comes natural to some people, but others have to practice it.
