Honestly I will always stand on separate the music from the artist. I have too much going on to stay informed on every single artist or band that I listen to. If I like the music you will not get me to stop listening to it period. But I do think when people start getting parasocial— defending or making excuses for artists who did something horrible is when it gets ridiculous. For example I noticed in the scene community a lot of people like and stick up for 4dbling. Dude wrote a whole song about cracking a 15 year old girl, you don’t even gotta do no research on ts. |

this is so real. i feel like some people need to GENUINELY get lives.. literally some ppl need to accept their favorite artists is problematic and move on with their lives. being so parasocial is SO scarily normal these days😭😭😭
