uhhh if you wanna meet more people and basically be more busy i would honestly recommend getting a job. (I recommend a place where more people your age will work, like a summer job at an ice cream store or a pizza place) I know its kinda hard but once i finally got a job ive made so many friends there and even a few that i'm still in contact with after they left my store. Since your homeschooled i think that would be a great way to meet more people. Then you'll have money to go out and have more fun like go to concerts and buy craft supplies or something! |

Honestly being homeschooled is so isolating especially after and during covid. I’m in the same boat Honestly i'm trying to get a job thats related to my hobbies like a media store or a library. But having a lot of hobbies that you can rotate through without being bored is my main thing. Also to absorb media that makes you think constructively to kinda get out of the internet mindscape so you don't doomscroll was helpful for me. Ps. find out if your city has any youth programs, especially ones where you can be a volunteer for other children. typically many other teens go for this stuff for credit so you could make a friend. |

- explore your surroundings (safely) - if I had old places or abandoned, yet open malls around me, I'd def explore them, but be mindful - touch grass, nature can be very calming, I'm serious - write journal, take and print pics if you can. same goes to physical hobbies and creative stuff - practice cooking, it's cool to make your own stuff and it'll be super useful later on as for making friends, be cautious. only befriend people from your age group and if they're toxic, then you're absolutely allowed to abandon them no matter what. |

i cant get a job till im 18 (which is in like 2 months..) but i DO have this church that i volunteer at in the meantime and it def helps me feel more social and open :)) thank u for replying!!!
