all just another way to gatekeep. they wanna feel niche and special all the time. like they were popular for a reason? they refuse to believe you can be a fan of a creator and not have to religiously stream their songs for hours to prove yourself |

I agree, tbh i think we Just lost the plot and i dont know at what point this "name 5 Nirvana songs or you're not a fan and you cant like them" shit started but this is honestly js mental |

At some point ppl decided that its disingenuous to enjoy music if you aren't a die hard, day one fan of the artist and I just cant get down with that line of thinking. |
