i have actually discovered a much easier way of doing this! the code that i am using for my skull cursor is a little bit outdated and overcomplicated, i would recommend for you to go to the website https://www.cursors-4u.com/, find a cursor you like, and then click the 'get HTML/CSS code' button, then just copy that code straight into your layout code
its much simpler than what i did here and equally as effective :3
