Pan is love regardless of gender. And Bi is love for multiple genders, not just male and female. It's easier to explain that Pan is when you look at a person and love that person, and gender doesn't play any role.

 I'm pansexual and at first I was also confused but if I can give you some advice don't ask yourself questions at the moment you will be if you are pansexual or bi at the right time <3
