I don't know if you're into this. But I like going free library hunting. There are little cabinets/house things on the sidewalk areas. There are usually books but food and random items are there every so often. You can even donate books you have that you don't like or care for. Even random items, it's usually you take or leave something. (https://littlefreelibrary.org/map) This website shows ones that are near you, so you don't actually have to go on every street to find them lol.
