as someone who works in kitchen with knifes and fire and other dangerous stuff id say that it only matters at the moment the injury occurs. i would only be concerned when the scar is very recent or is in an unusual place |

ok so like i'll notice them but its kinda just meh. if its someone close to me and they're new scars tho i might be worried |

as someone with no self harm scars I genuinely dont care. it does make you go 🤨 at first but after a sec you forget about it. I dont remember ever being uncomfortable or judging people for it. |
