they also like to forget that oppression is not one set box, and white is not the default race for people who are neurodiverse, queer, disabled, etc. i once explained to tiktok users that it's 100% cool to poke fun at nonblack folks being weirdly hypocritical about rap music (ie: racism but its "just a music preference"), but if they were gonna point it out in the context of neurodivergent people doing so, then they're just using it as a way to pass off their ableism as progressive. the amount of people who discredited what i said because they assumed i was white was insane. |

lwky insane when ppl claim to be progressive but they're just swapping one flavor of bigotry for another. or even the inverse, when people in a minority group appeal to bigotry assuming that they're the exception. and then they're shocked to learn that all forms of oppression and bigotry are a tree. even if you chop a branch off, if the main tree is still kickin the branch will grow back (T0T)
