aww I'm mentioned 🥺 wanna add that the reason why I gifted her these games is cuz a) It was really bugging me that the girl has a PS1 while owning NO GAMES. Imagine using a PS1 just as a CD music player b) wanted to help him with use the swap trick in the future, which requires you to own a licensed game. basically the swap trick was a very simple piracy method, where you can jam the sensor that detects whether a PS1 lid is closed, use a legitimate, licensed copy of a ps1 and wait for the console to authenticate the game's security codes, typically indicated by a ps1 logo appearing on the screen. (I think not that many people know that a ps1 start-up animation and sound is actually a clever hidden live hardware diagnostic that checks whether the system and the disk is in good and legit condition. A failure in booting the disk can sometimes cause the start up sequence to break beyond recognition, and is exactly the reason behind stuff like Fearful Harmony and Personified Fear.) Once the PS1 confirmed the game's security code, you gotta quickly swap your licensed game for any burned cd that you have with a pirated ps1 game in it before the system could recognise the swap happened. c) I just wanted to try playing RE2 on the original hardware man xd anyways great lost like always dude, this girl never misses with her blogs |
