Hey guys!! 💙 I wanted to make a quick post because there’s someone going around asking for ppl other social media accounts in the community offering to pay people just to “talk” to them. 😬

I don’t want to jump to conclusions about who they are, but the whole situation is giving me major 🚩🚩🚩 vibes, and I really don’t want this place becoming a playground for pedos, creeps, or people looking for vulnerable users.

PLEASE be careful!! If you have this account added, I highly recommend blocking + reporting them. If they’ve messaged you or tried to offer you money, PLEASE let the community know so other people can protect themselves too. 🖤

And remember:

✦ 🚫 Don’t add people older than you, you don't know. And if you do at least be careful and mindful. 

✦ 💬 Don't move conversations to private DMs/Or any other socials just because someone asks.

✦ 💰 Someone offering you money for attention or conversations is a HUGE red flag.

✦ 📸 Never send personal pictures, your address, school, location, or other private information.

✦ 🎭 Be careful with people whose identity/age doesn't add up.

✦ 🛑 If someone makes you uncomfortable, BLOCK THEM. You don't owe anyone a response.

✦ 📢 Screenshot/report suspicious messages instead of engaging with them.

✦ 🧍‍♀️ If you're under 18, please be especially careful with adults trying to privately contact you.

I could be completely wrong about who this person is, so I'm not accusing anyone of being a pedo without proof. I'm just saying PLEASE trust your gut and stay aware. Better to be safe than sorry!!
