I watched Confessions of a Shopaholic today! It was a fun movie to watch though I did feel like it lacked something more compelling and in-depth with the story and also with the characters. The lying on Rebecca's part is also crazzyyy. Girl, go to therapy (NOT the retail kind)!

Luke and Rebecca's initial run-ins and interactions were cute and funny (a bit awkward too), but I wanted something a bit more with them so it felt like the romance wasn't so... lacking, maybe? Sudden? I am not a fan of sudden romances usually so perhaps that is a me problem though!

I wish we could have seen more of Rebacca's relationship with her friends and parents too! I feel we didn't get to see much of Rebecca aside from who she was as a shopaholic, or as much as I wanted to anyway. Also I did not enjoy the bitterness with Alicia and Rebecca.

I think my favourite character would have to be Luke! And part of it might be because Hugh Dancy plays Will in Hannibal... But I do think he is a good character. The ending with the green scarf was sweet!
Overall, it was a fun movie but felt a bit lacking in what I wanted to see with the idea! I gave the movie 2.5 stars on Letterboxd, though sometimes stars just make things more complicated and don't gauge how I felt about a movie accurately because there is always nuance!
