I've just seen the backlash towards converse and i'm a bit disappointed
Me personally, I don't really believe that the new converse ad was pointing in that direction to represent a kkk imagery but I do understand that some people could have saw it in a different way from how the women in white was holding the shoes.
I've been wearing converse for years and I won't stop wearing my already bought shoes because i'm not rich enough to throw away expensive shoes like most people are doing on the internet.
But until then, I guess I will stop buying from converse for a while.
what's your thoughts?

it defenitly looks like a person hanging..and the shadow on the skirt made me think of the kkk hats..im glad they took down the ad and i hope karina (the girl in the ad) doesnt get to much hate for this...becuase this is totally converes' creatives team fault...like come on guys.
and especially right now..more brands need to be careful with potential imagery they are releasing if that makes sense

nahh that was intentional, there is no way in hell that that image was able to be approved. From far away the shadows cast make it look like brown legs.
and the shadow cast also makes the skirt look like a pointed hood.

I’m not a big fan of converse or wear them at all but I agree I’m pretty sure converse didn’t mean for the ad to represent a kkk imagery, and I get it you can’t throw away shoes, I can’t either because I’m in a tough spot finically. :(
