"Creepypasta canon" DOESNT EXIST !!!

This has been driving me INSANE for the longest time,,, especially online, people love to police other people's interpretations of creepypasta stories ( mainly regarding the slendermansion but also SCP foundation ) and lore as if it really even matters !!

Tbh how I see it the characters are like customizable dolls, YES they have original stories but creepypasta is built on fandom !! And fanon interpretations !! It's different from other fandoms in the sense that there's no sort of book / piece of media containing all of the info for it so people can literally just do whatever they want,,, I mean YES there's general templates and roles each character play ( which usually comes from their source story or how it's evolved ) but it's all really up to interpretation and depends on how you feel,,,

I like seeing it as a folklore type interest and you just kinda learn about the characters overall from seeing other peoples interpretations, reading the og stories, and deciding how YOU want to characterize them :3 that's what makes it super fun and that's why its still relevant 2day 

I lav this fandom and I really do hope that people stop getting so worked up about arbitrary stuff instead of just yk blocking whoever they're annoyed with and not interacting (-_-;)
