I do agree about that.

Maybe i think, it's lifeless at least on the bigger more mainstream Social Networking Websites.

But at least in websites like this one, I think you're right.

In fact, lately I find myself using FriendRewind than I do with Facebook. LOL XD

I just really enjoy this much.

it's pretty depressing how the internet has morphed following the AI boom, however as long as it's not intensely regulated and monitored by said AI, as well as the companies calling for it, i think we still have a pretty great fighting chance, as well as hope :D

the modern internet fucking sucks, don't get me wrong! searching things is bloated with a lot of junk, but a lot of the fun in the internet for some now is to scroll and find local indie sites on neocities and such, as some of the most interesting stuff comes from people on the internet documenting their journies and things! :D

i agree with a lot of your points (even though i am somebody who is not familiar with fashion & shopping lol), but the most important part is the indie web! there's lots of fun websites out there with guestbooks, start logging yourself on them! visit people's weird stuff, say hi!!!

lolll i had to google what dead internet theory actually meant cuz i thought it was about dead ppl. it's kinda like how as a kid, before i knew that the internet was a new thing i was like "there's no way there's that many ppl, all this content must include ppl who have already died but their content is still up." i still remmeber the time my younger sister showed me notifications and i was like "wow they're alive" and i thought thats what dead internet theory meant lol. but anyway ya, it's true so much of the internet has just become propoganda about upholding the status quo. its sad to think about how what started as a project about connection and bringing ppl together became the biggest tool for the government to keep ppl isolated. also idk if adding more content is something that i wanna do cuz then it just feels like im screeming into the void. i think my place on the internet is one of engaging with ppl to make sure that they don't feel like they're screaming into the void y'know. plus it's almost like a scavenger hunt to find small creators and then it feels like even tho they might be half way across the world they can still see me and i can still see them and we're able to have a conversation that anyone else is free to join, it's such a beutiful thing y'know. anyway thank u for this post, i couldn't agree more. 

So true! Those 0-view-youtube videos definitely needs to surface, that side is soooo unexplored and kinda proves how "alive" the internet is yet no one talks about it much (except for KVN AUST). The algorithm is just sucky.

0-view-youtube as in, the one you search with keyphrases...

Por suerte veo que más gente se esta cansando de las redes sociales  más usadas , te cansa el echo de que ya nadie socialisa en esas redes , y también que estan inundadas de IA.  Y muchas ya estamos hartos de eso ! . Yo hace poco comencé a aprender patronaje de ropa , y tejer más . Conectrar con lo hazlo tu mismo y darle valor a esas cosas es muy importante ! Y volver a conectar con las personas como se hace aquí es genial , es refrescante . No creo que muera al revés creo que tendrá mayor vida como van las cosas !
