I've noticed that not having access to my phone camera is making it so that I'm way more conscious of the photos I'm taking. I've recently had to go through the very extensive process of going through all of my photos before I can switch to my Nokia. That showed me how much digital junk I have accumulated the past 15 years. You wouldn't think of photos being junk, but at the rate I was taking them I should be considered a digital hoarder! Knowing that my only 2 options are a very limited flip phone camera or a digital camera, I've been so much more intentional with the type of photos I'm taking. The pictures I take now seem to come out better because of that. I'm waiting on 1 more photo print order in the mail to arrive and then my smartphone is getting signed out, factory reset and taken to e-waste (SIM card reader and charging port broke during a fall).
unrelated, but you know the saying "fences make good neighbors"? Yea, I get it now :/
