Like I'm sure people like him, but it kinda shocks me that people say that he's their hero 😭. Of course all the Beatles did bad things and weren't perfect but out of all of them John pmo the most. I think it's bc my grandma knew Mark Chapman (the guy who shot him🥹) and she's always going off abt how he was actually really nice but my grandma probably stilll thinks it's the year 2000 so I don't trust her judgment. I also like don't like murderers generally 😭😭. But the amount of people who have told me with a straight face that John is their hero and he's done nothing wrong and he's just a baby is genuinely baffling. Also I feel so weird talking about the Beatles by their full name like half of them aren't dead. What are yalls fave albums? Mine is Rubber soul 🥹. Please don't take anything I say seriously, I'm probably wrong and don't know what I'm talking . Feel free to correct me abt anything!

Me too, I hate the John Lennon fandom bruh. They really do infantilize him, but he literally said the n word a lot, and it's even in one of his songs. He was not a good husband (to Cynthia at least) nor father. Some people support bad people only because it makes them happy and that's pretty selfish
The only reason I highkey like him is bc I like imaging someone using the ballad of John and Yoko as a song in my biopic if I ever have one
