Drawing challenge, self portraits

I saw a video in my YouTube feed with one of those generic clickbait titles from a woman about how she would’ve quit art if not.. blabla. I clicked. She made a self portrait every day for a year, they looked great. She wanted to give up because she was rejected for one thing but then her friend gave her a book and now she sells art. I don’t know what else she said because I saw it and I thought ‘I can do that.’ She couldn’t keep my attention but she did inspire me.

Only that thought was followed by ‘I need a perfect sized sketchbook for it. I can make one.’ I spend the next two hours making my own sketchbook. It was an unplanned chaos with no blueprint to fall back on. It seemed as if I combined multiple types of bookbinding/making ideas and just kept going instead of correcting it. We lost three pages. *a moment of silence please*

My sketchbook is ready now. (As if I didn’t already have a bunch I could’ve used for this.) Is anyone willing to join me on the 27 days month self portrait quest?
