So I've recently started playing Elite Dangerous again, and I really like taking photos while I explore in the game. Here's a small photo dump of some my favorite photos from me playing the game. Plus a little yap about the game towards the end.

I took this screenshot recently. It was when I was traveling to the Pleiades Nebula, and on one of my stops I landed on a carrier. In this picture you can actually see two nebulas to my right. The big red one is Barnard's Loop and the small black/purple one above Barnard's Loop is Witch Head Nebula. I plan going to both of these nebulas after I finish exploring the Pleaides Nebula.

This screenshot is when I traveled to the Coal Sack Nebula. It was after I left a Carrier I had landed on.

This is a screenshot of my ship. I'm not sure where I was when I took this, but I was probably traveling through space in this screenshot. It loos like Star Wars when you're about to enter hyperdrive. I thought it was cool.

This is me in front of a star. I was probably fuel scooping (when I get fuel from orbiting a star) in this image. I think this one is really cool, but it kind of ticks me off that my ship isn't centered with the star...

This is a picture of a Neutron Star (I believe this is what they are called) I discovered on one of my journeys.

This is a picture of one of my ships underneath a planet. I believe this was when I left a station after buying said ship. If I remember correctly, I named this ship Lewis III. I name my exploration ships after Lewis and Clark. In this case, I chose Lewis, and this was the third time I did so for one of my exploration ships.

This is when I discovered a black hole. I believe it was the first black hole I've ever encountered. The black holes in this game do not look really good in my opinion. They really don't look like what a black hole would typically look like, and really all they do is just distort the light around it in a circle.
This is a picture of me orbiting a star. I was likely also fuel scooping in this image, and I thought this looked cool.
Anyways. That's about all the good screenshots I have.
I really enjoy this game. It is probably one of my favorite space games. I mainly do exploration in the game and just jump between systems and travel from nebula to nebula. It is a surprisingly good source of income in the game. Exploration is also really fun, considering that the game has a 1:1 scale with the Milky Way galaxy. I hope to one day travel around the galaxy. Exploration is also kind of suspenseful, because you can run into Thargoids (which are like the evil aliens in this game). And since I am an explorer, I am not equipped with weapons. I've actually ran into some Thargoid signal sources (especially in Nebulas), but luckily I have not been intercepted by them yet. If I were I would be so screwed. Exploration also brings a lot of opportunities for great photography, hence why I have these screenshots.
What saddens me about this game though, is that the development team kind of gave up on the console version of the game. I play the game on my play station, and it doesn't really receive any new updates. There's some updates here and there, but they are usually just bug fixes. They mostly put more of a focus on the PC version of the game, which is sad because I probably could not play this on my Laptop. It's even sadder, cause I heard somewhere that they were going to make new updates compatible for consoles, but they gave up halfway.
So now I have to sit and watch PC players get all the cool new stuff.
:(
I still enjoy the game though don't get me wrong...
