Entry 5 – Cryptozoology, Paranormal Mythology & the Liminal

I've been meaning to get into liminal spaces, mythology regarding the paranormal and cryptozoology but, like, where do I even begin with that? What websites can I use that could be considered credible sources, if you will? I personally do not believe in things like Big Foot or the Loc Ness Monster or Mothman (though I do believe in Aliens because I find it impossible to believe that, in this giant universe, we are the only sentient life out there).

But, despite my skepticism in most cryptids, I do find the stories and their origins incredibly fascinating! Same could be said for paranormal mythology — I absolutely adore the Japanese Yokai (spelling check?) and I want to know all about them but I dont know what websites would be considered credible for those. 

As for liminal spaces, I've always loved the psychology behind liminal spaces — how our minds try to fill in the missing pieces into something familiar, even if you as a person know that you have never seen that place in your life! Knowing that there should be SOMETHING there and then, subsequently, getting freaked out when you cant connected the invisible missing link is fascinating.

Anyway, I want to know if anybody has any resources they are willing to share — be it websites, podcasts, books or even youtube videos.
