Can i like a character without watching or playing the media?? I like this one character from DMMD, his name is Aoba (i like him cuz he's blue n stuff). And i havent watched or play any of the VNs. Or will i get called a 'larper' or whatever ppl say these days :(

ultimately you can like a character even due to something as simple as "they look cool" but you Are missing on understanding the character as well a. you know. character, themes and such.
also speaking as somebody who just likes dmmd, the vn is pretty cool in many ways.
DMMD was officially translated and released on GOG. Finding GOG games for free in an absolutely ( ⓛ ω ⓛ *) not ◉‿◉ copyright infringing (。・ω・。) way is not very hard.
do mind that dramatical murder is a VN that features explicit sexual content (often non consensual) and gore on screen. There was a Cero C version(Re:Code) but idk how that one fares.
AHH!! Ive been trying to get into dmmd but its so hard for me cuz, as u said, it has pretty explicit content. It also contains some heavy topics (which makes it very hard for me to understand)
But i never knew it has another version, i might have to check it out!!

disappointingly re:code has never been translated to english in any way </3 forgot that fact before looking it up just now.
there were also manga and anime adaptations of dmmd, both of them are pretty bad from what it has heard online (* ￣︿￣) also it doubts they're more safe than the original VN

Honestly, if you like the character, that's all that matters. Anybody smart enough wouldn't make a big deal out of it. The VNs are always there to read, so you shouldn't worry about what other people might say.
